CASA

BECOME A COURT APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATE

WHAT IS CASA?

CASA is a court appointed special advocate for children in our local community who have been abused or neglected. The goal is to advocate for the child in court with hopes to reunite the child with their family in the future.

TIME COMMITMENT?

The time commitment to train become an advocate requires 30 hours of training on weekends and evenings for 4 to 6 weeks. After the initial training, the commitment is only about 8-12 hours per month depending on the case.

WHAT ARE THE STEPS FOR THIS PROCESS?
